C Level (Entry/Apprentice)

Commercial Truck Technician

 The C-Level Commercial Truck Technician supports shop operations by performing basic 

maintenance and repairs under supervision. This role is ideal for entry-level technicians gaining 

hands-on experience in commercial vehicle maintenance. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance services (oil changes, filters, lubrication)

  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and inspections

  • Conduct basic brake, tire, battery, and lighting repairs

  • Perform vehicle inspections and report issues to lead technicians

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work area

  • Follow safety procedures and shop policies

  • Accurately document work performed

Qualifications

  •  High school diploma or GED required 

  • Enrollment in or completion of a diesel technology program preferred 

  • 0–2 years of commercial or diesel technician experience 

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment 

  • Valid driver’s license required 

Skills & Competencies

  •  Willingness to learn and follow instructions 

  • Mechanical aptitude 

  • Good communication and teamwork skills 

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
